Available in Passion Red, Canal Blue, Scotia White, Satellite Silver and Pyrenean Black to bring the choice of body colours up to five. The Special Colouring Package available in Passion Red only being the most sought after colour. History- UK supplied and registered 08/01/2001, since 2018, under the current owner the TME has received care of the highest order to bring the car back to its absolute best. The Cambelt and balance belt were replaced in 2019 A replacement Clutch and flywheel were installed in 2019 In 2019 the TME also received an extensive but sympathetic refresh which included removing, restoring and refitting all the underside chassis and suspension components to achieve an as-new finish. On top of the this the engine and drivetrain were removed, refinished and reinstalled including all ancillaries. Fully rebuilt Brembo brake calipers along with new discs and pads were installed. Presentation- The interior and exterior present extremely well, reflecting the way the car has been maintained and stored in its past. Engine and drivetrain- Powered by Mitsubishi's 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC intercooler/turbocharged unit, Ancillary components have been restored and refitted. The 2.0l 4G63 has been dyno tested and produces its original healthy figure. Underside- Auto Torque Chassis refresh programme has been carried out, complete with a large folder of images documenting the process. New components were installed to provide a tight and responsive drive, including tie-rods and ends, new top mounts, bushes and refreshed dampers. Sourcing examples of these cars in this condition is incredibly difficult, with the opportunity not presenting itself often. Recent examples have fetched over £100,000 at auction and in July car #001 reached £164,000 including auction fees. A truly cherished example to compliment a collection or to be enjoyed as intended.
