AT Performance are thrilled to present for sale this exemplary Evolution V GSR in Scotia white. The Evo V is becoming increasingly popular and sought after with its analogue driving experience, rally styling and classic Evo shape. This one UK-owner-car has covered just 113,350 km (70,400 miles) from new. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V marked a significant evolution in the Mitsubishi Evolution series when it was introduced in 1998. Renowned for its rally heritage, the Evo 5 features the robust 4G63 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine, producing around 276 horsepower as standard, paired with an advanced all-wheel-drive system that provides exceptional traction and handling. This model introduced several upgrades over its predecessor, the Evo IV, including an improved suspension setup with wider tracks, larger brakes, and a more aggressive aerodynamic package featuring a larger rear wing and redesigned front bumper for better airflow and cooling. This outstanding example was brought over to the UK by reputable import specialist Guy Francis Specialist cars in 2016 as an exemplary Grade 4 with accompanying auction sheet, since then it has remained in the care of one true enthusiast owner, a gentleman we have got to know very well since the car came to us in 2017. The vehicle is supplied with a large history file containing invoices totalling tens of thousands of pounds lavished on the car. https://www.autotorque.net/services/franks-evo-v-show-spec-underbody-restoration-3802/ In preparation for sale, a full specialist service has been carried out in June 2024 by Auto Torque with supporting invoice, including all fluids and NGK spark plugs. In 2017 shortly after purchasing the car it was delivered to Auto Torque for a comprehensive underbody refresh, including an extensive list of brand new chassis components including bushes, tie rods, drop links and brake lines. The accompanying invoice for this work alone totals £7,000, which provides an idea of the level of care bestowed on this cherished example. The stock power has been uplifted to a reliable 375 bhp with supporting dyno sheet. Upgrades include, Ross Sport Hydraulic Lifters, Walbro 255 l/ph fuel pump, Turbo elbow, Mishimoto radiator, coolant hoses & hard pipes, Mitsubishi Evo IX Turbocharger, 3" Downpipe, Decat pipe, HKS Hi-Power Cat back exhaust system, Relocated battery, BC Racing coilovers with 4 wheel alignment, Aluminium airbox, Exhaust manifold blanker, HKS SSQV blow-off valve, HKS pillar guages, Refurbished Brembo brake calipers were installed April 2019 along with an Auto Torque stainless steel tubular exhaust manifold. Upgraded G-hook front and rear brakes discs, Tegiwa carbon fibre spark plug cover & engine bay bolt kit finish things off. This is a truly outstanding example which must be seen to be truly appreciated, you will be hard pressed to find a better example for sale today.
