2000 Ford Racing Puma
Here we have a very unique opportunity to own a piece of motoring history and a true cult classic from Ford. Number 225 of a limited run of 500 Ford Racing Pumas (FRP), spent it's life dry stored and used on dry occasions by 4 different members of the Puma Racing Owners Club until 2013 as documented online. A quick google of the 225 build number will reveal more about this special car. It was even featured in Autocar Magazine in the spring of 2008 and attended many Ford shows and festivals across the UK.
These appreciating classics are set to become a real collectors item, due to the fact many FRPs are already in private collections, have been dismantled or sadly written off. Build 225 is in lovely condition throughout and has been lovingly prepared by our detailer for the lucky new owner.

The Ford Racing Puma which was created in a limited run of just 500 by Tickford, Boreham in the UK. It had a modified version of the 1.7 Zetec-SE engine pushing out 153bhp. Alongside a superb service history file, FRP 225 also features a Piper stainless backbox, Cat and Centre Section - installed by Pumabuild in 2011.
The bodywork was changed to give it wider front and rear wings, with the track increased by nearly 100mm with 17" Speedline wheels. Tucked behind these wheels are Alcon 4 pot calipers and discs, with disc brakes to the rear. Ford and Alcon worked together to optimise the brake setup for the FRP.
The interior was also transformed with Sparco bucket seats finished in blue Alcantara trim, which was also used to trim the rear seats and door cards. This version was only made available in right hand drive to the UK market, with all 500 cars produced in Ford Racing Blue.
